Program Description
CARE is a Full Service Partnership program providing comprehensive, strength-based and culturally sensitive mental health services in English, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese. Our services are client and family driven, and focus on addressing client and family needs while respecting and working within cultural beliefs, supports, and norms. Our target populations are Latinos and Asian/Pacific Islanders (API) who are unserved and/or underserved.
Services
Services are provided by a team which includes: mental health clinicians, family partners, a registered nurse and a psychiatrist.
Treatment services are:
* Individual Therapy
* Family Therapy
* Group Therapy
* Home-Based Services
* Medication Management Services
* Crisis Intervention
* Case Management Services
* Integrated Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment
* Psychiatric Services Including Evaluation
Referral Process
Referrals may be initiated by any individual, concerned family member, concerned social service provider and school counselor by calling the program directly.
Certifications
This program is certified as a Medi-Cal provider by the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency and the California Department of Mental Health.
Hours of Operation
9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
Evenings and weekends by appointment only
Fees and Funding
CARE is primarily funded through contracts with the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency and the Mental Health Services Act. The program accepts Medi-Cal and uninsured clients. Uninsured clients pay a fee on a sliding scale based on the family monthly gross income. No one is denied services based on inability to pay.
