Horizon South, a program of Horizon Services, Inc., is fully licensed and certified by the State of California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs to provide non-medical alcohol and drug detoxification and residential services for adult men. We have operated under contract with the Santa Clara County Health and Hospital System and the Department of Alcohol and Drug Services (DADS) since February 1, 1991, providing both service components in one facility.
We provide services to adult men 18 years or older. We welcome men of ethnic and cultural diversity, men from the gay community, men with co-occurring disorders and other disabilities, and the elderly.
Horizon South operates two separate programs: a ten-bed detoxification unit and a 31-bed residential program. Both programs are an integral part of the DADS Adult System of Care (ASOC) designed to provide a continuum of care for adults. Program

Services are provided in a modern well lighted, temperate, air conditioned facility. Although a busy facility, the noise level is quiet to moderate. We are licensed for six (6) non-ambulatory beds for the mobility impaired and wheelchair accessible. Parking for disabled persons is available near the main entrance.
